Terms of Service

Last updated: July 18, 2026

These terms apply to every trip you book with SeaQuest Trips (“SeaQuest Trips”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). We run private boat charters from Al Khiran Resort, Kuwait, including island trips, fishing, snorkeling, and cruising in the Arabian Gulf. By booking a trip or paying for one, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and everyone in your group.

Booking and confirmation

Every trip is a private, per-boat charter. Prices are set per boat, not per person, and the current prices are shown on our rates page, which is the authoritative source. At the time of writing, Alhala Island is KWD 150 per boat and Um Almaradim Island is KWD 160 per boat. Other destinations may be offered seasonally or on request.

Your booking is only confirmed once the trip is paid in full. An unpaid or partly paid booking does not reserve the date, and we may release it to other customers.

Group size

The price covers up to 8 people. Each additional person is KWD 10. The maximum on board is 12 people, including children. Let us know your final group size before the trip so the captain can plan for it.

Prices and payment

We accept Kuwaiti Dinars only. You can pay online through our secure checkout, which processes payment over the KNET network. Prices include the inclusions listed below. Add-ons are charged separately at the prices shown on the rates page, for example kayak hire, a gas grill, a grill launch with burgers, and fishing bait.

What’s included

Each charter includes fuel, a 150-liter cooler with water and ice, snorkeling equipment, free use of a paddle board, a sea rug, pool noodles and floats, a freedive buoy, and fishing gear. No license is needed for recreational fishing.

Please bring your own swimwear, sunscreen, towels, and lunch, unless you have booked a food add-on.

Arrival and trip length

A full-day trip runs about 6 hours. Be at the marina at least 15 minutes before your departure time so the captain can leave on schedule. Late arrival does not extend your trip and does not change the price.

Cancellations, changes, and refunds

  • If you cancel a paid booking, KWD 50 is deducted from the amount you paid and the rest is refunded.
  • There is no refund for no-shows.
  • If a trip is cut short at the request of your group, the full price still applies.
  • If we cannot sail because of bad weather, rough seas, or a safety concern, we will reschedule your trip to another available date at no extra cost. If we cannot agree on a new date, you may choose a refund of what you paid, less any add-ons already used.

To cancel or change a booking, contact us as early as you can through the channels listed at the end of this page.

Safety and conduct on board

The captain is responsible for the boat and everyone on it. For your safety, you agree to follow the captain’s instructions at all times. The captain may change the route, cut a trip short, or return to the marina if weather, sea conditions, or behavior on board make it unsafe to continue.

  • Passengers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • If anyone in your group cannot swim, tell the captain before departure.
  • Alcohol is not allowed on board. Smoking is permitted.
  • You take part in swimming, snorkeling, freediving, fishing, and other activities at your own risk.

Damage and lost equipment

Please treat the boat and its equipment with care. You are responsible for the cost of items that are damaged or lost during your trip. Typical charges are KWD 20 to KWD 30 for a broken fishing rod, KWD 2 to KWD 3 for a lost jig, and KWD 15 for lost fins or a mask. Larger damage is charged at cost.

Fishing

No license is needed for recreational fishing on our trips. You agree to follow Kuwait’s fishing rules, including any size and catch limits and protected areas. The captain may ask you to release a catch to stay within the law.

Liability

Boat trips and water activities carry inherent risks. To the fullest extent allowed by the law of the State of Kuwait, SeaQuest Trips is not liable for injury, loss, or damage to persons or property that results from those inherent risks or from failure to follow the captain’s instructions or these terms. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time you book is the one that applies to your trip. The “last updated” date above shows when we last changed them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait. Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts of Kuwait.
