A summer boat trip in Kuwait is not about fishing. From July to September the heat is high and the fishing is poor, so the honest plan is simple: get out on the water where the breeze is cooler, the deck is shaded, and the sea is warm and calm. SeaQuest Trips runs private charters from Al Khiran, and a summer day with us is built around swimming, snorkeling, and relaxing, not chasing a catch that is not there.

Why summer is about the water, not the fishing
We would rather be honest than sell you a bad day. In the summer months the fish move off and the temperatures climb, so we point you toward what summer does well. The Gulf stays warm and inviting, the southern islands stay clear on a good day, and the shade on our boat makes the hours out there comfortable. If you want to understand the yearly rhythm, our seasons and fish guide lays it out plainly.
An honest summer boat trip Kuwait itinerary
Every charter is private and per boat, so the day is yours. Here is how a typical summer day on the water tends to flow.
- Arrive 15 minutes early at Al Khiran with your ID, swimwear, and a hat.
- Cruise out under the large overhead shade toward your chosen island.
- Swim and snorkel in the clear, shallow water once the captain sets the anchor.
- Paddle board or float on the free board, pool noodles, and floats.
- Fire up the grill if you added it, then head back cool and easy.
Escape the heat on a shaded deck
The boat is a 38 ft center console that carries up to 12 passengers, with 8 included. It has a large overhead shade, an XL toilet with fresh water, and a Bluetooth stereo for your own soundtrack. The 150-liter cooler comes packed with water and ice, so cold drinks are covered all day. You can see the shade and layout on the boat page.
Swim, snorkel, and paddle board
Everything is included. Snorkeling equipment, a freedive buoy, a sea rug, pool noodles, floats, and a free paddle board all come on board, so you can move from a swim to a drift to a paddle without packing a thing. The southern islands are the draw:
- Alhala, about 15 minutes out, with a quiet reef and shallow, clear, family-friendly water.
- Um Almaradim, about 30 minutes south, with a clear lagoon and coral heads.
Add a grill launch and eat on the water
If you want lunch cooked at anchor, two options make it easy:
- Gas grill for KWD 10, where you bring your own food.
- Grill launch for KWD 30, with burgers included.
You can also add a kayak for KWD 10. Bring your own lunch or snacks either way, along with sunscreen, a towel, and a long-sleeved shirt for sun cover.
Family and non-swimmer notes
Summer days are easy for mixed groups, with a few simple rules that keep everyone safe.
- Anyone under 18 sails with a guardian.
- Tell the captain before departure if anyone cannot swim, so we can set them up with a float and keep them close.
- Keep sunscreen, hats, and water within reach, and bring seasickness medication if you are unsure about the ride.
A few booking basics: trips are paid in full to confirm, in KWD over KNET. Bad weather means we reschedule, never a bad day on rough water.
It is never too late for a genuine adventure. Pick your island and date on the Rates and Booking page and pay online to lock in your summer day. Questions? We reply on the water.
